I have to admit I am beginnning to think that this is a bogus company who are just out to rob people of their hard earned cash!!!

My partner was ill on valentines day so instead of picking some flowers up on the way home I thought it would be nice to send her some by courier if it wasnt too late. After some searching (googling), Serenata's website guarenteed delivery if I paid an extra £10.99. Result! I ordered the flowers at 8.30 in the morning, by 3pm I was getting concerened as i asked for confirmation to be sent that all was ok, so I phoned them up asking if they cannot make it today then let me know so I can cancel and pick some up instead, they said that it could be as late as 8pm but that they would contact the florist and call me back, but they didn't. So I waited and called them again that evening, still no proper answer. So 10pm came and I had kinda given up at this stage, of course 'herself' didnt believe that I ordered any flowers but hey what more could I say!

Failure to deliver, and appaling follow up service!

I live in the US and wanted to send a special gift to my sister and her family for Christmas. I looked on line and was really happy with the selection of items offered by Serenata Flowers. Their pricing looked great too. After much consideration I chose a tea tray with food items, and asked to have it delivered a few days before Christmas, giving plenty of notice.

Christmas came and went, and life was busy, so I didn't get to talk to my sister. In mid January she sent me an email, but didn't mention the cool Christmas gift. I was surprised. It turned out that she hadn't received a gift from me.

I tried to call the O800 number but couldn't get through. I emailed and requested a call back. Nothing. I emailed again and finally received a contact saying my order was on hold. It turned out I had misspelled my sisters street address. Magdalaine instead of Magdelen, however I had included my sister's name, phone number and zip code, as well as my own phone number. Serenata Flowers - NEVER EVER USE

I am appalled by this florist. My boyfriend, who lives in Singapore, ordered flowers for me as a surprise to be delivered in London on the Saturday before Valentine's Day (Tues, 14th) before 12pm. By 1.30 nothing had arrived so he had to tell me what I was waiting for and he rang them. They refunded his 'delivery before 12' fee and said they would be there any time before 7pm. I rang customer service at 1.50pm who said the currier said he tried to deliver at 2.30pm (in the future!). The customer services manager, Andrew, said he'd call me back but I told him if they didn't arrive to refund my boyfriend in full. By 7, nothing had come. I rang them and they said they would get back to me once they spoke with the courier service, although Andrew had left with no response to my query. I spent all but 3 hours of my Saturday waiting for the delivery, having to cancel my plans for the afternoon. On Monday, my boyfriend sent an email cancelling the order and had my flatmate go buy me £100 of roses from Selfridges so I had something by Valentine's Day, however... (Read the full review)

The flowers -ordered well in advance- were not delivered on birthday.
What more do I need to say?

Customer Services did not call back with an update when contacted on the day. "Unfortunately, we have no control over this delay" was the feedback received the next day.

Fail. Will never use again.

Serenata Flowers ruins Christmas present idea

Wish I'd have read others feedback on this company before doing business with Serenata. Ordered a hamper to be delivered to my Grandmother online for Christmas, but due to a website error (should have put me off) I had to call customer service to put in the order.
Hamper never arrived and wasn't notified by the company. After calling back customer service they had no clue as to the reason and was told someone would call me back. This too never happened so called back today and was told that they would refund the order with no compensation offered by the ill-educated service rep. No apology, no reason, just another unhappy customer they wanted off the phone.

Be smart and take your business elsewhere.

In summary, I would not recommend Serenata Flowers to a friend.

The most important thing when ordering flowers is that they turn up on time. These didn't, even though I ordered them a week in advance at www.serenataflowers.com

I phoned up to complain and was told I should have ordered them to be delivered a day earlier. Not helpful at all. If they think they won't arrive in time, they should send them out earlier! I would not have minded them arriving early, but there is no point in them at all if they arrive late.

I wish I'd seen these reviews before ordering.

Money down the drain.

I live overseas and ordered flowers for a friends graduation. I placed the order on Wednesday and chose delivery for Saturday. The flowers didn't arrive so I called them on Monday. They completely washed their hands of it and said it was up to royal mail now, however they have no royal mail reference to give me so basically 'good luck with that'. Royal Mail can't track without a reference so the flowers won't be getting to their destination.

Absolutely hopeless.

False advertising, inflexible, dishonest and unhelpful

On Saturday I wanted to get a next day delivery of flowers to my girlfriend. The Serenata website was covered in ads saying "Next day delivery" and the flowers I chose had a photo stating "Next Day", so I bought them. I paid extra for "Next day before midday" delivery.

Of course, once I had paid, the receipt said "Monday before midday". I immediately wrote to them, and asked them why, and when I didn't get a response, I wrote to them middle of Sunday asking them to change the delivery address to my girlfriend's office, if it were to be a Monday delivery.

Eventually I got a reply saying that I should read their terms and conditions - no change of address after 8pm.

So, they tried to deliver the flowers to my girlfriend's flat when she was off at work. She wasn't there, so they gave them to some barrowboy out front to give to her. Really?

I called the help line, and they told me that they couldn't do anything, they were just a subcontractor, and couldn't resolve any situations, just pass on notes. So I wrote to Serenata. They sent me... (Read the full review)
