Editor's Review:

Bloom & Wild is a new flower delivery company in the UK, specialising in letterbox flowers. Their website is simple to navigate on both computer desktop and mobile devices, and the relatively small range of bouquets on offer means that they can focus on offering the highest standard of quality, freshness, and customer service.

Quality and Range

Bloom & Wild customers have 3 options to chose from on the website’s home page: Letterbox Flowers, Hand-Tied Flowers, and Gift Boxes. These are the three types of products available for order through the website for every need.

Letterbox flowers are packaged in bud so they can fit in a small box and be sent through the mail without getting crushed, ensuring a fast and fresh bouquet that will bloom at home. This means that the recipient themselves can arrange the flowers their own way.

The range of flowers available for order on the website, however, is quite limited, with only a handful of bouquets to choose from, although these are quite different and comprise a variety of blooms. If you like to browse and have a lot of choice this might not be an adequate service for you.

Customers can set up a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly gift subscription. In this case, you are asked to choose the first bouquet and the following deliveries which change with the seasons. This is a great way for the gift recipient to discover new flowers and to keep the magic of opening a present!

There are various subscription plans available, including 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, or an ongoing subscription that can be cancelled at anytime without incurring fees.

Website and Service

The website is sleek and ergonomical, and we believe it is one of the most intuitive for users. Moreover, with Bloom & Wild’s app, ordering flowers from your phone has never been easier.

Delivery is fairly limited, however, as Bloom & Wild does not deliver outside the UK or to the Channel Islands. If you choose to pay extra for DPD courier service, flowers cannot be delivered to Northern Ireland, parts of Scotland including the Highlands, the Isle of Man, and parts of Cornwall.

Bloom & Wild’s same day delivery service is available only in Central, South, and West London with Shutl courrier. The full list of eligible postcodes is available on their website, but this limitation makes the company appear more London-focused. This differs from competitors who have a comprehensive national and even international reach. However, if you and your loved ones are based in the London area, then Bloom & Wild's service may suit just fine.

Summary

Bloom & Wild specialises in letterbox flowers and gift subscriptions and, as such, they cannot compete with higher-ranked flower delivery companies that offer a wide variety of blooms and deliver all over the world. It is a small service but if you’re looking for something different and need flowers delivered with no-one at home to receive them, it might just be the right concept for you, so don’t hesitate to give them a go!
