Flora Queen is an international flower delivery expert with branches across Europe and which delivers to over 100 countries thanks to local partnerships with thousands of professional florists.
Quality and range
Here you will find classic roses, lilies, and orchids as well as a few models of decorative plants, but if you are looking for original blooms this may not be the right place for you. Nonetheless, the bouquets on offer are gorgeous and carefully arranged, and delivered in tall boxes to protect them all the way to their destination.
FloraQueen’s established business boasts high levels of satisfaction on several review aggregate websites, and they strive to treat each order with the best standards of service and products.
The high quality photographs of flower arrangements allow customers to see, in detail, what they are ordering. The option to upgrade to a bigger version of the standard bouquet, to make your order even more special, is also a helpful feature.
Gifts and hampers are also available to accompany your bouquets for a special occasion, since these include jewellery and perfume as well as chocolate and wine. For a quick present that will delight its recipient, choose from one of FloraQueen’s ready-made hampers comprising a selection of gifts and a beautiful bouquet.
Website and services
The website is not very easy to navigate, and customers must first choose their currency and the country of delivery in order to see which bouquets are available. In fact, all the prices are charged in euros, which may entail conversion and bank charges for UK-based shoppers.
While researching for this category, there was a technical problem with the feature to display the prices in GBP, and it kept resetting to euros every time we clicked on a different page. The website also changed by default to other countries even when we set it for the UK. These problems may be only temporary, but they can seriously hamper a customer’s shopping experience.
The section of the website titled “VIP” led to an error page, so we cannot comment on this feature. When browsing flowers, a tool to display bouquets by price would have been helpful for customers to sort through the selection and make the best choice for their budget.
Pricing is indeed a real issue with the FloraQueen website, with mixed bouquets that were presented as costing 24 euros on the selection page going up to £64 when we chose to display the price in GBP and deliver in the UK. It is to be hoped that this is a technical issue and not the actual prices.
The FloraQueen website had some issue when we were researching this category, but with international branches and worldwide deliveries there is bound to be some issues with currency conversion and destination selection tools. Nonetheless, if you want to treat someone special who lives far away, this might be just the right service for you, as they work with local florists all over the world to satisfy as many customers as possible.
