I ordered flowers for my mum and arranged for them to be delivered on Mother's day.
However, iflorist had a different idea.
First of all, they delivered my flowers on the SATURDAY (not Mother's day) so it wrecked the whole surprise/Mother's day feel. I had also paid extra for them to be delivered specifically on the Sunday.
Secondly, (and most importantly) it was the WRONG BLOODY BUNCH. The flowers didn't resemble the ones I had ordered even in the slightest! They looked cheap, badly put together and just ugly. They were small and pink with loads of greenery/grass stuff. While the ones I had ordered were a large bunch of beautiful bright orange gerberas and burnt orange lilies. I had paid £40 for the flowers including delivery. The ones that arrived looked barely worth £20.
Anyway, not only were these flowers the WRONG flowers, they were also badly damaged and wilted. They looked like they were ready for the bin. In fact, that's where they went. Even my mother noticed, although she didn't like to admit it as she didn't want to offend me. So when I showed her the ones I had ordered for her she was so disappointed.
