Do not use this company

The website looks good, but the service is a disaster.

Ordered flowers for a very dear friend who is ill and, although the order was accepted, the flowers were not delivered and I have not received a refund.

This appears to be a bogus company who take orders but do not deliver.

DO NOT USE THEM

In summary, I would not recommend eFlorist to a friend.

Impressed!

I ordered the flowers as a surprise for my partner and I wasn't disappointed with the delivery! They came on time in a lovely box and my partner loved them. Unfortunately the only downside to these are that they come nearly half the size of how they look in the photo, but a photo never does it justice I guess! Overall I would definitely order from here again and will be doing so regularly!

In summary, I would recommend eFlorist to a friend.

The flowers were delivered a day late... They were upside down and squashed in the box... And they do not look anything like they do on the website! They have there own Facebook page specially for complaints? Doesn't that tell you something!! It's an embarrassment!! Please do not buy from these!!!

In summary, I would not recommend eFlorist to a friend.

They are not florists

Let me tell you why Eflorist are so bad. I asked the person who delivered my dreadful flowers how they could justify something so awful and this is what I found out.

Eflorist spend a lot of money pretending to be a real florist - paying for Google adverts which place them higher than real local florists. They trade under several names and harvest local phone numbers to make them look like real florists. But it's just a very bad call centre.

They take your money and then don't even attempt to allocate it to a real local florist until it's already too late, they give them only 42% of your order value to do it, and don't reply to the florist who might query things like an impossible delivery slot or a product they just can't get. Efkorist don't care about the standard that the shops put out. Anyone can become an Eflorist agent. There are no quality checks, no-one even comes to see that you are a real shop. All they care about is that the shops pay Eflorist a fee each month to be on their list. And they don't pay the florist until a full month after the... (Read the full review)

Awful service, no flowers.

Promised the delivery of a simple bouquet for a birthday, paid for my credit card. The process was straight forward although not cheap and there was a substantial additional charge for delivery. However, the flowers were not delivered on the birthday and no call to let me know. The following day discovered from them "that they could not find anyone to deliver it" so gave up! No phone call to alert to non-delivery, just a terse e-mail with no telephone response facility. There was no reply from their chat service. When a telephone number was found and after a long wait on the line a promise was made for an immediate delivery but once again nothing happened and no effort to alert us that this had occurred. The response to yet another e-mail was that they would get back to us but instructed us to not e-mail again. It remains unresolved more than two days after the expected delivery date.

I am very unimpressed. I suggest do not use.

In summary, I would not recommend eFlorist to a friend.

Horrendous

My parents placed an order for a bouquet of the Royal Blush to be delivered to me with a request for this to be at 10am (confirmation email containing specific instructions attached below).

I waited until 11am, then I rang customer service, who informed me that they cannot see the special instructions, even though "they usually can". They informed me that the florist who has accepted the order is having van issues, and that the flowers will arrive within the next two hours.

After the two hours, still no flowers. I called again and a different customer service representative told me that the van is out for deliveries and that they will arrive within the hour.

The flowers arrived half an hour later (that's FOUR HOURS DELAY!!!!!!).

Unfortunately, not knowing what "Royal Blush" is meant to look like, since my parents ordered it and not me, I happily signed for the order.

After sending a photo to my parents, they informed me that this was the ENTIRELY WRONG BOUQUET.
Not only were the signature flowers missing, my favourite flowers which were meant to mark this special occasion for me, but they seemed to have been substituted by some mess of... (Read the full review)

Please Avoid

Dont be tempted to use this company
They are truly awful
They took an order for a birthday delivery then sent an email on the morning of that day to say that they couldn't find a florist in the area and could deliver the next day.
Asked for an email response and claimed the response was blank it wasn't!
This company is not to be trusted,
IF THE FLOWERS MEAN SOMETHING TO THE RECIPIENT - DO NOT TRUST THEM TO DELIVER ON TIME

In summary, I would not recommend eFlorist to a friend.

ASA ruling for misleading advertising 6th July 2016
13 July 2016
Reviewer: Arch from UK

139 of 276 people found this review helpful

The UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has upheld a complaint of misleading advertising in respect of a bouquet advertised on eflorist's web-site. The ruling was published on the ASA website (www.asa.org.uk) on 6th July 2016. The complainant believed that the image was not representative of the product received and therefore challenged whether the ad was misleading. The bouquet received did not contain the flowers in the image, there were considerably fewer flowers and it arrived flat-packed.

In their defence eFlorist stated that:

'text below the product image and at the bottom of the webpage made clear that their images were for illustration purposes only, that the content might vary and only the colours of the flowers (pink, lilac and mauve) were set. Therefore, their executing florist had met the order requirements of that particular design.'

Despite this the ASA considered that:

'consumers were likely to expect that while the product received might not be exactly as depicted in the image, the image was an accurate representation of the product they would receive in terms of volume, and the colours and types of flowers included... consumers were still likely to understand that any substitutions would be at a minimum and that the volume... My boyfriend ordered flowers to be delivered to me at work they arrived a day late as they sent them to the wrong address!!! They had no water with them nor any flower food they was presented like a bunch you take to a funeral, he ordered lage bouquet and if you call six flowers large I would hate to see a small bouquet, the flowers were all dry and limp they all died after 3 days, none of the flowers were what he ordered so I sent photos and a complaint email to eflorist they replied with a patronising email telling me how I should take care of flowers and they were satisfied the flowers were of excellent quality!! £45 for 1 stem of gladioli, 3 stems of carnations, 1tiny rose and 2 stems of greenery wheres the value there??? I have bought far better from tesco for cheaper and better quality lasting longer than a few days. The customer service is disgusting there is no service at all, I sent emails asking why they are not doing anything about this and guess what?? YES THEY HAVE IGNORED ME so now I am reporting them to trading... (Read the full review)

Avoid using EFlorist - awful

Reviewer: Mr Oneill from UK

I ordered a heart in a vase from their website for delivery next day as a surprise for my wife (as I was away for a few days). They then left an email the following day saying they couldn't source what I wanted but could send something else if I let them know by 4pm. The email was sent at 4.36pm!! I left phone details but there was no attempt to contact me. I had to chase them every day to see what my options were. They have emailed to ,et me know that they've provided a full refund but I haven't seen this money yet. Really stressful and a kind thought for my wife never became reality.

In summary, I would not recommend eFlorist to a friend.
