Totally unhelpful / poor value for money

I ordered flowers for my stepmum's 93rd birthday and paid £30. I gave 48 hours notice. Two minutes after I'd placed the order, I realised I had out my own address for delivery instead of hers and I immediately emailed them with the order number and the change of address. When the confirmation of order came through (with wrong delivery address) I replied again asking them to change it. They replied a while later saying it was too difficult to contact local florists in time.

The bouquet duly turned up at my home on the delivery day and I just had to phone my stepmum (who lives 80 miles away) and tell her the sad story. I sent a complaint email to FF and got a cool reply pointing out that they require 72 HOURS notice for changes. Why?? It's just a bunch of flowers and an email/text/phone call to a florist not a world cruise! I emailed back and told them to take me off their postal and email databases. We'll see if they can do even that right.

The one good thing about getting the flowers myself is that I was able to see what I got... (Read the full review)

Better flowers in the local garage

Mum sent me flowers for my birthday, they were horrendous. Arrived late in the day and seriously looked as though they were on their last legs. Hardly what I would call a bouquet, not many flowers in the bunch and they did look very cheap and nasty. The problem with their website review system is that only the buyer not the recipient can leave reviews, I would never tell my mum the flowers were terrible, she would be horrified, take the reviews on the website with a pinch of salt, most recipients will say "oh yes the flowers were very nice" and so the buyer will put this in their review. I had two other bouquets for my birthday, both from a local florist and both absolutely beautiful. I looked on their websites and the prices were not a lot more.

In summary, I would not recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.

Company not what it used to be. Absolutely disgusted!

This company used to trade from Jersey and were brilliant. Not any more! Beware!
I think they were either brought out, or someone brought the company name, certainly not the same quality or service that I used to get when they were in Jersey. Gone downhill, and then their customer services started digging.

I ordered £40 of Flowers and Chocolates for my wife for Valentine's Day a week in advance, from their Valentines 2014 catalogue. They didn't arrive. If you think (like me) that it is important that the flowers arrive on time, don't bother with this company, they have a very different view.
Contacted customer services, they said they can't guarantee delivery on a particular day, they should arrive the following day, and that was that. No apology, no flowers, nothing. Flowers never arrived the following day, and the romantic gesture is totally lost. If the flowers ever arrive who knows what state they are going to be in, doubt they will look anything like the glossy advertising or the website.

Thankfully, I had brought my wife other things as well, so she wasn't left disappointed. Unless, you want to leave your loved one disappointed don't take the chance, they are certainly not... (Read the full review)

Embarrassing

Really terrible Service! Ordered an indulgent christmas magic for my best friend and the size of the bunch that arrived was a disgrace and nothing like the photo. I contacted them and had my first complaint ignored completely. The website tried to say that I had never ordered flowers so couldn't offer my order details. Then even after supplying a photo was told it was too late on my second complaint and that the operative thought the flowers looked just fine. Very poor customer service and I certainly won't be using them again. I will also be making sure all my friends know not to use this company as well

In summary, I would not recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.

DONT BOTHER

I am so angry with this company, I advise anyone that is thinking of using this company not to bother. I ordered flowers a week in advance to be ordered today in time for mothers day and the company aren't even answering the phones as they are busy. I wanted these flowers to take away the next day and couldn't as they never arrived. I am fighting for a full refund from this company because the service I have had is disgusting.

Blush arrangement plus chocolates - mothers day
09 March 2013
Reviewer: UNhappy customer from UK

I tried to order an arrangement to be delivered the Saturday before Mothers day, the website kept giving errors so I had to call the order line. The flowers were delivered the day before and as my mother was not home they were taken to the sorting office. Now my mother can not drive, is elderly and has to get 4 different buses to get to the sorting office to collect her own mothers day flowers, not to mention having to get 4 buses home again whilst carrying the flowers, also as the post office sorting office closes at 2pm on a Saturday and the card specifies that if 24 hours is not left before collection the parcel might not be available for collection there then comes the issue that the flowers might no the available for her anyway.

I called the flying flowers number and selected option 2 and was left waiting 15 minutes for someone to answer the phone, when i called again and selected option 1 to place an order there was an option to leave a message and someone would call back. After about 3 hours the call was returned by a lady called... (Read the full review)

Flying Flowers - Never again!
22 March 2012
Reviewer: Renaissance from England

I decided to try Flying Flowers because of their low prices and beautiful pictures of their bouquets. I ordered a Mother's Day bouquet and paid extra for it to arrive on the day Sunday.

The bouquet did not arrive on the day and did not arrive the next day either. By 5pm on the Monday after Mother's Day I decided to email and complain, having had a ruined Mother's Day and having paid nearly £30 for so far non existent flowers. I was emailed back after a few hours saying that the flowers would be sent on the Wednesday after I had wanted them and that they would refund the delivery.

On Tuesday at 5pm a bouquet arrived in a soggy box and were not the Rose and Freesia bouquet I ordered but were four stems of pink Carnations with one stem of yellow Freesia! The card that came had not been printed as I had written it and came like this: 'HAPPYMOTHE RSDAY'

I emailed the company again straight away to say how disappointed I was with the card and the flowers but heard nothing back.

Today, Thursday, I called Flying Flowers and after talked to abruptly by a woman on the... (Read the full review)
