Disappointed is an understatement....

I ordered a bouquet of flowers for a friend's birthday today. She didn't like them. How do I know this? BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T ARRIVE! I have never been so disappointed and incensed with a company's bad service before. I received an email this morning stating the flowers would be delivered between 7am-9pm today, but nothing. No matter how much they try to smooth things out, it makes no difference. It's not her birthday tomorrow. It was today. I'll be on the phone in the morning, they may not like what they hear.

In summary, I would not recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.

Disappoints repeatedly

Based on the quality of the product images on the website, we felt quite happy to use Flying Flowers to send bouquets to distant relatives or friends for those special occasions. Then, while visiting a friend, she rather embarrassingly remarked that flowers she'd received from us some months before had been rather disappointing, stating that they had to be thrown away after being on display for a couple of days.
Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident, and we've since had similar comments from others on the poor quality of the product from this Company, all of which seem to accord with the reviews on this site.
As one reviewer has mentioned, they seem to continue trading on the basis that the customer will probably never see the delivered product and the recipient will feel too embarrassed to complain to whoever's sent them.

We stopped using them long ago; after all, if you were buying a gift for a friend for a special occasion, you wouldn't knowingly insult them by giving them something of poor quality.

Sadly, word hasn't got round to all of those who use the internet to send flowers, as we've just received a bouquet from a friend via Flying Flowers;... (Read the full review)

I purchased a bottle of champage and bouquet of flowers for my friends 50th Birthday in Jersey, we have recently met up and she told me she had to tell me how awful these were as she didnt want me to use them again. Cheap bottle of wine instead of champagne and the most pitiful bunch of flowers which didnt last 2 days cost over £60 plus. Disgusting DO NOT USE!

In summary, I would not recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.

Poor quality flowers

I stopped using Flying Flowers when I found out that the flowers I sent were of poor quality. Unfortunately a friend still uses them and in the last 6 months I have received two lots of sub standard flowers. The company rely on the fact that people who receive the flowers will not complain as they do not wish to upset the sender. I contacted the customer service team and sent pictures but they said as I had not complained quick enough they were unable to help. The customer service team is not interested in any negative feedback and at the same time has no intention of trying to resolve an issue. This time I have let my friend know as hopefully she will stop using them as well. Flowers should be a pleasure to receive not a disappointment. Even worse when you receive a potted plant coating £15 knowing you could buy it for less than £5.

In summary, I would not recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.

Delivery not guaranteed - beware

I ordered flowers to arrive for my mother's birthday on 16th February. I clearly selected this delivery date when it asked me 'When would you like these flowers to arrive?'

The flowers arrived a day late, with no apology from Customer Service. I explained that I would not have paid for these flowers had I known they would not arrive on the selected day. I was told 'your confirmation email says that the flowers can arrive a day either side of your preferred date'.

So, you select a date, pay for it, and THEN they tell you that it might not arrive then. Right. I wouldn't mind this when ordering most other products online, but many people buy flowers for a specific occasion, often to arrive on a specific date, so I think it is particularly important that they make this clear. Don't give people the option of selecting a particular day if all products will actually arrive at some point in a 3 day window.

When they arrived, the flowers were of average quality. Perhaps I was unlucky and most people's flowers arrive on the day they asked for them, but from now on I will be paying a bit... (Read the full review)

Don't waste your money
17 February 2015

Bouquet sent by relatives in Canada - they have used FF many times before, and it's never been good - spindly bunch featuring 4 carnations (one head broken off), three small freesia stems, two wispy stems of spray carnations, and a fern leaf. On the plus side, the few flowers were firm and fresh. The nearest I can see on their website (though it looks like a much bigger bunch on their site) is £16.99, which is atrocious for something you could get at a supermarket for £2.99. Just an awful waste of money.

In summary, I would not recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.

Never ever again!!

Ordered from Flying Flowers having seen a flyer in Good Housekeeping Mag. Girl on order line not only couldn't pronounce some very common flower name-in the end I told her. Had to go through my address and recipient's' address twice (when she thought Belfast wasn't in the UK and wanted to charge for international delivery!!) Very long call, but order made. A day later another call FROM company to ask if I wanted the flowers as I hadn't paid for them. I assured them I had, but once again gave my card details. Not only did the flowers arrive a day late (for my mother's birthday) but 2 bouquets arrived and , surprise, surprise, I was charged twice.

Eventually after 3 more calls, money refunded, but just a 'sorry' for the late delivery. Simply not good enough Flying Flowers.

I am appalled. Interflora from now on!

In summary, I would not recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.

Don't deliver as ordered
15 September 2014
Reviewer: Katie from UK

I have now used them twice. The first time they sent a completely different bunch of flowers, which they emailed me to say were more suitable. This time, the order was placed and a young man left a message that they could not be delivered and to call. After 15 minutes someone answered and said they would look into doing something else and would email me. After 3 days called again. Call answered after 7 minutes. Gentleman said he couldn't see my order on his screen. Someone would call me back in a few minutes. True to form this didn't happen and I cancelled the order.

In summary, I would not recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.

My husband ordered a flower card for a special anniversary. It was delivered to the wrong address. Another one was send but it was wet, soggy, flowers were not fresh and was never worth the money. It was terribly disappointing that it didn't turn up on time - 6 days late. will never use them again for anyone.

In summary, I would not recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.
