Very disappointed
13 March 2018
Reviewer: Claire from UK

I ordered a spring bunch of flowers to be delivered on the Saturday the day before Mother's Day. I received an email on the Saturday morning to say that the flowers were on the way. By the end of the day I had heard nothing from my mum who would have rang after receiving such a gift.

After speaking to someone at Flying Flowers on the Sunday morning he informed me I needed to have paid an extra £5.99 for guaranteed delivery on my chosen date and that they would be delivered the next working day (Monday).

End of Monday still no flowers - by now, they are not a surprise anyway as I had to tell my mum or she would have thought I hadn't done anything. Called customer services who firstly told me they were out of stock and then told me they were out for delivery. I asked if they had been on a lorry since Saturday and he said no, they were only prepared on the Sunday.

To cut a long story short, the flowers arrived lunchtime Tuesday, 2 heads fell off and the rest look like they've been in a fight. Supposedly 25% extra -... (Read the full review)

I ordered flowers for Mother’s Day. They didn’t arrive until the Monday and were almost dead on arrival.
Customer service was terrible when I called them.

I would definitely shop again with FlyingFlowers as they arrived on time and are stunning!
I ordered the 'Simply Carnations' for my mother to cheer her up , they did very much so!
However , they do not look like the picture provided , this may just be because they are still in bud but they do still look very pretty.

My mother is very pleased with the surprise as they came in a lovely box with a free vase , plant food and care guide.

I would recommend 10/10 to anybody looking to buy flowers from them.

In summary, I would recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.

Tears for Mothers Day
28 March 2017

The flying flowers says in their advertising that each rosebud is protected to ensure protection, each box before it is sent out is checked FIVE times! How come then that I received a box of drooping rosebuds and lilies that have never opened, no plant food and the ribbon bow disintegrated as I picked it up. I sent photos to the company, I was sent an apology and a replacement box would be forwarded, this was received naturally after Mother's Day. The roses this time are opened no protection so the heads are squashed, lilies look like they will open (hopefully), the bow was completely ignored! The gift was flowers and chocolates, and I would have thought as a way of sincere apology the whole gift should have been replaced. Instead I ended up with a spoilt day and a loving daughter who is devastated. Do I recommend this company.....definitely not.

The yellow rose buds that I received from Sainsburys a week before are now fully opened and still going strong!

In summary, I would not recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.

Rubbish!

My son sent me Mothers Day flowers from this company.......not only did I not get the ones he ordered, (tiny bunch arrived) the roses had drooped within 1 hour, brown leaves too......absolute rubbish. The only small amount of saving grace is that they sent another bunch......BUT the roses are beginning to droop again in 6 hours!!!!! Much better companies out there.

In summary, I would not recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.

What an awful experience!

This is probably the worst experience I have ever had with a company! I placed an order with flying flowers for my husband for our 1st Anniversary, which is supposed to be one of the most special days. I chose special guaranteed delivery at the checkout to ensure my husband received this order on our actual anniversary date. I rang up a few times to ask where my order was and the person who answered the phone said it would be here yesterday at 7. It still did not arrive, I rang again to ask where it was and was told it won't be delivered until the day after our anniversary! How shocking is this! What good is a surprise the day after a special occasion? The staff yesterday were not sympathetic at all and refused to let me speak to someone more senior.

It was the first time I ordered from flying flowers and definitely the last! Very very disappointed in them for ruining our special day. Not a reliable service at all.

In summary, I would not recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.

Valentines day flowers
13 February 2016
Reviewer: Wayne from Rossendale

My order arrived today and how very disappointed I was on opening them. 1st the message in the card also contained someone else's information or information which should not have been printed on the card. The Roses looked nothing like the picture and the leaves where brown, damaged and full of which stuff in essence damaged. I was left very disappointed and upset as this ruined my Valentines Day Surprise and made me look like a cheapskate. I could have purchased far better roses from Aldi or Lidl. Don't buy from here rubbish flowers.

In summary, I would not recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.

Very disappointing

I received a bunch of freesias and red roses from a friend on 23 Dec. The freesias were already going over, they lasted one day. The foliage on the roses had to be completely stripped as it was decaying. After two days most of the roses were going brown so I threw them out.

From the enclosed brochure I saw these flowers must have cost about £18, which is outrageous for such poor quality. I would not recommend this company at all.

In summary, I would not recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.

Disgusting customer service

My flowers were supposed to be delivered yesterday, but did not arrive. When I contacted customer services they told me I had got the date wrong - which I know I hadn't. They are going to deliver today which is no use as my mum is now away for a couple of days. When I told this to the woman at customer services she was completely unsympathetic and was unwilling to arrange redelivery, so now my mum will be picking up a box of dead flowers from the post office when she gets back.

They would not offer me a refund and were very rude about it, no customer service whatsoever. I have since discovered many other reviews of this company being shoddy, unreliable & with poor customer service - this is certainly my experience.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!!!

In summary, I would not recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.
