Flowers awful
26 March 2022
Reviewer: Jill from UK

Flowers delivered this morning, dumped on doorstep, box in total view, driver could of put at side of house out of view! Actually driver might have down me a favour as someone could of stolen a box of shockers. I Opened flowers from my Daughter for Mothers day. Flowers look nearly dead, so dry and wilted. I thought strange colour as my Daughter knows I love pastel colours. I sent her a photograph, she said are those roses red, the bouquest was descriped as pink. I do not like red flowers, so all in all shocking. A few stocks, greenery folded up so dry, thrown that away already. And six curled RED roses. Don't really want to tell My Daughter as the thought was lovely. I am upset that she wasted her money, will keep them for tomorrow, but in the bin Monday. Who want's dead flowers in a vase. Shocked at Marks and Spencer/

In summary, I would not recommend Marks and Spencer Flowers to a friend.

Disgrace!

Flowers arrived on time but they were nothing like the images online. I wouldn't have paid £5.00 for them let alone £25.00 if I had seen them instore. M&S should be ashamed. The reviews speak for themselves so why are they still delivering rubbish?

In summary, I would not recommend Marks and Spencer Flowers to a friend.

Whatever happened to you

My elderly neighbour sent me flowers for my birthday ~ they arrived a day late . However this just meant I would have more birthday surprises .

Flowers arrived around 4pm ~ they really looked dead , however I put them in water and hoped for the best . I did not have the heart to tell my friend and neighbour that the flowers she had lovingly chosen for me were dead ~ not to mention the expensive. I therefore told her they were lovely , however I phoned Marks and Spencer customer service and told them that I would like an email address to send them pictures of said died flowers.

Pictures will clearly show that these flowers are dead. M & S used to stand for quality, sadly this is no longer true. My son purchased flowers from Asda for me ~ 3 heads were missing from the luxury lilies range of flowers ~ still much better than this bunch of dead shriveled up flowers that are only good for the compost heap.

In summary, I would not recommend Marks and Spencer Flowers to a friend.

Another failed delivery
17 June 2021

They used to be so good but now totally unreliable, only use if you don’t want your flowers and gift to arrive on the given date. It happened once before and I thought it’s just a Covid glitch, everything is blamed on that. This time it was important they arrived on time but alas M and S and their courier Yodel don’t seem to care about customer service. Don’t try to call customer services during the advertised opening times as they have automated computer system which seems to just drone on and can’t understand my Scottish accent. Never again.

In summary, I would not recommend Marks and Spencer Flowers to a friend.

Non Delivery of Anniversary Flowers
12 April 2021
Reviewer: Lightbodyae55 from Buckie Scotland UK

I was directed to M&S Flower delivery service by a number of websites that gave them good reviews, having made an order at the end of March for delivery on 8th April 2021 I was assured my delivery would arrive on time on the due date. On the 8th April in the afternoon around 3.00pm I received an email from M&S flowers stating that the delivery would be delayed by 48hours. This was not good enough as I had requested the order for our 10th Anniversary and they were ordered for my wife as a surprise gift.
4 days later still no delivery. I did contact Customer services on 8th April and eventually I did get a refund for the non delivery of the flowers but no refund for the chocolates that had been ordered at the same time for delivery with the flowers. Today (Monday 12th April) I had to contact Customer Services again for the refund for the Chocolates, what a carry on, what a shambles M&S flowers is no wonder M&S are loosing customers if this is the way they treat them.

I will not shop with them again, they are absolutely useless.

In summary, I would not recommend Marks and Spencer Flowers to a friend.

Mother’s Day flowers
03 April 2021
Reviewer: Elizabeth Frances from Devon

I totally agree with the previous review. My flowers arrived upside down and the box was soaking wet. The courier said sorry but they were very busy and it was inevitable. The flowers were a very disappointing quality and died within a week. Last year I had some lavender plants from Marks & Spencer‘s and I had practically identical problems. The pots were delivered upside down, the soil had spilled and the plants died. I would never buy from them again.

Last year I left a poor review on the Marks & Spencer’s website and they - unsurprisingly - refused to print it.

In summary, I would not recommend Marks and Spencer Flowers to a friend.

Gutted
17 March 2021
Reviewer: Mother from UK

It says in the advice describe good and bad points. Impossible!!! The mother’s day flowers were 2 days late, arrived in a wet soggy, trashed box and the flowers were half dead. Petals were falling off, 2 stems were completely wilted and after 24 hours in water 3 more stems have given up the ghost. I can’t possible tell my children because they paid a lot of money for these and they would be really upset about it. I buy flowers from a local supermarket which last 2/3 weeks for a fraction of the price. M and S get your act together, this is not a good service. I would also give no stars but the review needs at least one, which is one too many.

In summary, I would not recommend Marks and Spencer Flowers to a friend.

Ordered spring flowers for delivery for daughters birthday at a cost of £25..went today to see flowers that were delivered two hours before I arrived ..to say I was upset is an understatement ..about 6 stems of flowers that looked way past their.best .only really fit for the bin ...could have bought nicer flowers from a budget supermarket for £3 99,,cannot say enough DO NOT not order flowers for delivery from Marks .i felt so ashamed when I saw the pathetic bunch nothing at all like the photo or description .cannot think of any good point at all

Flowers were delivered to me from my mum. Not only did the bare no resemblance to what was order they were loose in the box that was delivered upside down. Such a disappointment. Customer service were very good and provided a refund with no issue however I would have preferred the flowers.

In summary, I would not recommend Marks and Spencer Flowers to a friend.

Never again
12 December 2020
Reviewer: Disappointed from Nottingham

35 of 74 people found this review helpful

I ordered flowers as a birthday gift and have just been sent a message by M and S that my order has been
'updated' which on phoning them means that it had been cancelled, with 2 days to go. So I've had to quickly get another gift for the recipient, from amazon. The email they sent was both unclear and unhelpful and customer support told me that they had a problem with their supplier which meant the IT system couldn't explain the order had actually been cancelled. And this from a multi-million pound business! Never will I use M and S again. They aren't cheap, so I was paying for the certainty of a named day delivery. Unreliable is what I got.

In summary, I would not recommend Marks and Spencer Flowers to a friend.
