Based on the quality of the product images on the website, we felt quite happy to use Flying Flowers to send bouquets to distant relatives or friends for those special occasions. Then, while visiting a friend, she rather embarrassingly remarked that flowers she'd received from us some months before had been rather disappointing, stating that they had to be thrown away after being on display for a couple of days.
Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident, and we've since had similar comments from others on the poor quality of the product from this Company, all of which seem to accord with the reviews on this site.
As one reviewer has mentioned, they seem to continue trading on the basis that the customer will probably never see the delivered product and the recipient will feel too embarrassed to complain to whoever's sent them.
We stopped using them long ago; after all, if you were buying a gift for a friend for a special occasion, you wouldn't knowingly insult them by giving them something of poor quality.
Sadly, word hasn't got round to all of those who use the internet to send flowers, as we've just received a bouquet from a friend via Flying Flowers; beautifully packaged, beautifully presented, but ultimately, dead within two days.
Embarrassing as it might be, we felt the need to advise the sender not to use this Company again.
In summary, I would not recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.
