I purchased a bottle of champage and bouquet of flowers for my friends 50th Birthday in Jersey, we have recently met up and she told me she had to tell me how awful these were as she didnt want me to use them again. Cheap bottle of wine instead of champagne and the most pitiful bunch of flowers which didnt last 2 days cost over £60 plus. Disgusting DO NOT USE!

In summary, I would not recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.

Poor quality flowers

I stopped using Flying Flowers when I found out that the flowers I sent were of poor quality. Unfortunately a friend still uses them and in the last 6 months I have received two lots of sub standard flowers. The company rely on the fact that people who receive the flowers will not complain as they do not wish to upset the sender. I contacted the customer service team and sent pictures but they said as I had not complained quick enough they were unable to help. The customer service team is not interested in any negative feedback and at the same time has no intention of trying to resolve an issue. This time I have let my friend know as hopefully she will stop using them as well. Flowers should be a pleasure to receive not a disappointment. Even worse when you receive a potted plant coating £15 knowing you could buy it for less than £5.

In summary, I would not recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.

Don't waste your money

Bouquet sent by relatives in Canada - they have used FF many times before, and it's never been good - spindly bunch featuring 4 carnations (one head broken off), three small freesia stems, two wispy stems of spray carnations, and a fern leaf. On the plus side, the few flowers were firm and fresh. The nearest I can see on their website (though it looks like a much bigger bunch on their site) is £16.99, which is atrocious for something you could get at a supermarket for £2.99. Just an awful waste of money.

In summary, I would not recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.

Never ever again!!

Ordered from Flying Flowers having seen a flyer in Good Housekeeping Mag. Girl on order line not only couldn't pronounce some very common flower name-in the end I told her. Had to go through my address and recipient's' address twice (when she thought Belfast wasn't in the UK and wanted to charge for international delivery!!) Very long call, but order made. A day later another call FROM company to ask if I wanted the flowers as I hadn't paid for them. I assured them I had, but once again gave my card details. Not only did the flowers arrive a day late (for my mother's birthday) but 2 bouquets arrived and , surprise, surprise, I was charged twice.

Eventually after 3 more calls, money refunded, but just a 'sorry' for the late delivery. Simply not good enough Flying Flowers.

I am appalled. Interflora from now on!

In summary, I would not recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.

Don't deliver as ordered

I have now used them twice. The first time they sent a completely different bunch of flowers, which they emailed me to say were more suitable. This time, the order was placed and a young man left a message that they could not be delivered and to call. After 15 minutes someone answered and said they would look into doing something else and would email me. After 3 days called again. Call answered after 7 minutes. Gentleman said he couldn't see my order on his screen. Someone would call me back in a few minutes. True to form this didn't happen and I cancelled the order.

In summary, I would not recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.

My husband ordered a flower card for a special anniversary. It was delivered to the wrong address. Another one was send but it was wet, soggy, flowers were not fresh and was never worth the money. It was terribly disappointing that it didn't turn up on time - 6 days late. will never use them again for anyone.

In summary, I would not recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.

Totally unhelpful / poor value for money

I ordered flowers for my stepmum's 93rd birthday and paid £30. I gave 48 hours notice. Two minutes after I'd placed the order, I realised I had out my own address for delivery instead of hers and I immediately emailed them with the order number and the change of address. When the confirmation of order came through (with wrong delivery address) I replied again asking them to change it. They replied a while later saying it was too difficult to contact local florists in time.

The bouquet duly turned up at my home on the delivery day and I just had to phone my stepmum (who lives 80 miles away) and tell her the sad story. I sent a complaint email to FF and got a cool reply pointing out that they require 72 HOURS notice for changes. Why?? It's just a bunch of flowers and an email/text/phone call to a florist not a world cruise! I emailed back and told them to take me off their postal and email databases. We'll see if they can do even that right.

The one good thing about getting the flowers myself is that I was able to see what I got... (Read the full review)

Better flowers in the local garage

Mum sent me flowers for my birthday, they were horrendous. Arrived late in the day and seriously looked as though they were on their last legs. Hardly what I would call a bouquet, not many flowers in the bunch and they did look very cheap and nasty. The problem with their website review system is that only the buyer not the recipient can leave reviews, I would never tell my mum the flowers were terrible, she would be horrified, take the reviews on the website with a pinch of salt, most recipients will say "oh yes the flowers were very nice" and so the buyer will put this in their review. I had two other bouquets for my birthday, both from a local florist and both absolutely beautiful. I looked on their websites and the prices were not a lot more.

In summary, I would not recommend Flying Flowers to a friend.

Company not what it used to be. Absolutely disgusted!

This company used to trade from Jersey and were brilliant. Not any more! Beware!
I think they were either brought out, or someone brought the company name, certainly not the same quality or service that I used to get when they were in Jersey. Gone downhill, and then their customer services started digging.

I ordered £40 of Flowers and Chocolates for my wife for Valentine's Day a week in advance, from their Valentines 2014 catalogue. They didn't arrive. If you think (like me) that it is important that the flowers arrive on time, don't bother with this company, they have a very different view.
Contacted customer services, they said they can't guarantee delivery on a particular day, they should arrive the following day, and that was that. No apology, no flowers, nothing. Flowers never arrived the following day, and the romantic gesture is totally lost. If the flowers ever arrive who knows what state they are going to be in, doubt they will look anything like the glossy advertising or the website.

Thankfully, I had brought my wife other things as well, so she wasn't left disappointed. Unless, you want to leave your loved one disappointed don't take the chance, they are certainly not... (Read the full review)
