Have been asked to write this review as if to a friend. In short, mate, don't use Serenata if you want a reliable, responsive service. There were NO GOOD points!
My one and only experience with this company left a 'nasty taste in the mouth'. £30 worth of flowers ordered well in advance for a special wedding anniversary were not delivered. When queried, it took persistence to get a response. I was told that it would take 48 hrs or so to get an answer from the courier - no proper apology was given and you would expect a phone call at least but I had to wait several days for an answer. The explanation by email was: 'left in a secure location at the front of the property'.
Apparently my flowers had been shoved in a neighbours garage ( about 90 meters down the road) and he had been away for over a week and discovered the box when he got back. Needless to say, the flowers were brown & shrivelled by this time.
On the delivery date, there was someone at my home all day, there was no phone call from a courier struggling to find the right address??? I guess the courier was someone who could not be bothered and shoved them inside the first open door he found. TOTALLY UNNACCEPTABLE!
I had to ask for a refund and I have to say in summary that if I treated my customers like this, I would be out of business very quickly. Will Serenata learn anything from this experience? I doubt it very much.
In summary, I would not recommend Serenata Flowers to a friend.
