Flowers Direct is a great online flower delivery service that brings stunning, florist-designed bouquets to all. With national and international coverage, this British Florist Association partner florist guarantees complete satisfaction on every single purchase – if you’re not totally happy with your order, you can receive a complete refund or replacement. Although Flowers Direct is probably not the cheapest site we have come across whilst researching this category, it does provide a wide range of high quality flowers and a number of promotional bouquets at reduced prices. What’s more, with free gifts being included with many products, customers can often pick up a generous gift at a great price at Flowers Direct with a little savvy shopping!
One thing that Flowers Direct does do well is providing a great range of bouquets and arrangements for customers to choose from. With a broad catalogue of designs, ranging from classic combinations to more modern arrangements, customers can easily find something that is perfect for any occasion. They can shop by price, colour or floral variety, or shop by occasion to find the perfect bouquet for a birthday, funeral, anniversary, or indeed, anything in between. With all arrangements on the site changing according to seasonal availability, you can be sure that the flowers you choose from Flowers Direct are of the highest possible quality. While all bouquets can be delivered the next day as standard, the site also boasts a wide collection of bouquets that can be assembled and delivered on the same day as ordering (for an additional charge). Finally, all customers should check out the site’s regular email bulletins and newsletters to find details of the site’s promotional deals, many of which offer fantastic bouquets at seriously knocked-down prices – great for gift-giving on a budget.
As well as the range of standard bouquets, customers can also make upgrades and additions to their purchases to create a gift that is both unique and impressive, customers can choose from three different upgrade sizes as well as a number of ‘add on’ gifts such as chocolates, wine, teddy bears, balloons and more. They can also shop for a number of standalone gifts as alternatives to flowers (or as generous additions to a bouquet) such as fruit hampers, gift boxes, toiletries and more. Many bouquets come with free gifts as standard, so picking up a bouquet and wine set, for example, need not cost as much as you would think. Finally, whilst shopping for bouquets and gifts, customers can read reviews of all products by previous purchasers, to help them make the decision about which products to choose.
Although Flowers Direct is definitely a good place to shop for high quality flowers, the cost of delivery on many products is a little steep, especially when compared to other sites that offer delivery free on bouquets that are more cheaply priced. We would suggest our readers bear Flowers Direct in mind, especially during peak seasons (such as St. Valentines day, Christmas and Mothering Sunday) when the site runs a number of great promotional offers, but that they also shop around (particularly at sites listed in our top ten in this category) to get the best deal, whatever the occasion.
