I sent some flowers from the UK to NZ for sister's birthday, which was the day before she was due to go into hospital. Although they quick enough to confirm my money had been taken, their so called 'tracking service' via their web site just didn't work.

After several emails to i-florist I finally got a reply email to say the flowers were being delivered on the date requested but that this was in UK time (which was a day later than requested in NZ due to the time difference).

After several emails and several 'live chats' with customer services online, asking if and when the flowers had been delivered, where various people promised to get back to me, no one ever bothered to contact me.

I finally rang their so called customer service number in the UK to ask when and if the flowers had been delivered. I was told due to the time difference it would take 24 hours to get back to me. Fair enough. I then was told the flowers were delivered by leaving them outside the front door at 5.45 pm. When I asked what DATE that actually was, I was told they would find out and get back to me. I am still waiting for a reply, over two weeks later. I can't find out from my sister as she is still in hospital.

So now my sister now thinks I don't care about her birthday; I have wasted a lot of money on flowers that were delivered late and left on the doorstep (if they were delivered at all judging by the comments on here)and no one at i-florist seems to give a damn. Take the money and run seems to be their motto...

Please DON'T USE i-florist. I wish I had read more reviews before placing an order with them. I would rather had emailed a local florist and placed an order with them- would have been easier to follow up the order and at least the flowers might have actually been delivered on time.

In summary, I would not recommend iFlorist to a friend.
