Extremely disappointing and an extraordinarily poor customer
21 February 2013
Reviewer: Hakon from London, UK

Fair enough there were adverse weather conditions, but taking money for a 'guaranteed delivery before 2pm', not delivering until after 2pm the next day, courier ran down the stairs without a single word when asked about it, then taking seven days to reply to repeated queries, refusing to refund and offering instead a £10 credit...! I admire the naive optimism and assumption that anyone would buy from them again without a polite and a satisfying resolution. The flowers were already dying, the box of chocolates and the card were soaking wet. Extremely disappointing and extraordinarily poor customer service.

In summary, I would not recommend iFlorist to a friend.

Unreliable, poor customer service

Reviewer: Pincher from Camp Bastion, Afghanistan

These flowers were ordered on the 10 Feb 2013, for delivery Valentines, for my fiancé in the Philippines. I am serving in Afghanistan, contributing to the war effort here but instead of concentrating on my duties, I was instead consoling a distraught fiancé, who was in tears because she had not received her flowers. As my duties keeps us apart most of the year this gesture maybe meant more to her than most couples who see each other daily and I had then run out of words to comfort her.

I even had an online chat with an advisor who did advise he could guarantee delivery on the 14th so I asked for them earlier rather than later, he gave me the dates between the 11th and 14th for delivery, a 4 day window to deliver the flowers.

Nothing arrived on the days leading up to the 14th so I assumed they would be delivered on the 14th, my fiancé kept calling me saying they hadn't arrived and I kept telling her to be patient, they will be here! It came to 2200, Filipino time and she gave up any hope of receiving her flowers, and my fiancé was distraught to say... (Read the full review)

This company refuses to give refunds

I ordered flowers for a birthday on the -14/2/13 they never arrived.
I sent an email- no response
I tried calling - couldn't get through answer machine on all day
I have just got through 24 hours later- and I requsted a refund and was told the flowers are out for delivery today- who wants flowers the day after their birthday.
I have requested a refund and have been told I cant have one as it states in the terms and conditions that there is a 48 hour window for delivery- NO WHERE DOES IT STATE THIS! It does state however that if they cant deliver on the date specified then they will let you know prior by email or phone which they didn't
This company has the most appalling customer service which has annoyed me more than the non delivery of the flowers
Do not use as they wont be helpful if things do go wrong

In summary, I would not recommend iFlorist to a friend.

Awful company! Order 278290

Ordered hampers from iflorist / ihamper for Christmas presents.
Hampers were meant to be delivered on 23rd December. Didn't turn up. Called on 24th was assured they would be delivered that day. They didn't!
I then had to rush out to buy more presents! Which is not what I wanted to do on Christmas Eve!

When the office finially reopened I was told they had to do an investigation with the courier!

I called multiple times a weeks for over a month being fobbed off time and time again!

I have finially been told the item had been delivered so I wouldn't get a refund! I didn't recieve the items and am over £100 out of pocket! Don't think it should be me out of pocket due to a delivery driver taking it to the wrong place!
Customer service is shocking! Never any one in charge to talk to when you call up and they have put the phone down on me multiple times!

Awful company! Will be sending letters to paper, watchdog, etc, anyone who will listen!

In summary, I would not recommend iFlorist to a friend.

Please, please - never order with iFlorist

I have never dealt with such an appalling, amateurish company in my life. I ordered a bunch of flowers from iFlorist to be delivered to the United States to cheer up an ill friend. They were not delivered on the day they were supposed to be, nor the day after, nor the day after. If I had not phoned the company persistently to get these flowers delivered I am in absolutely no doubt that I would still be waiting. A poor excuse of a bouquet (not the upgraded bouquet I was promised by way of compensation) was finally delivered ALMOST A MONTH later, well after my friend had recovered from her illness!

I have written to iFlorist twice to complain now - have I received a reply? Of course not. I was going to email the managing director but I see from another commenter that that too is a waste of time. This company simply does not deserve your business, they treat customers with contempt. Please listen to those of us who have had a negative experience and spend your money elsewhere. With iFlorist, you might as well just kiss it goodbye.

In summary, I would not recommend iFlorist to a friend.

Absolutely disgusted

Ordered a hamper on 13th Dec to be delivered on 20th Dec (in UK). Today, 5th Jan, there has been no delivery and despite numerous emails - no phone contact, internet only - they have not answered one. Automated responses, but not one answer to my queries. No on-line chat is ever available. Nothing. They issue you with a "ticket No" but tell you to use it only once otherwise you will be treated as spam. They have taken my money and delivered nothing. I can't contact them and they refuse to contact me. In my opinion this company is nothing more than a scam. Now, when I try to contact them, I am told it is an unsecure site. Says it all. Too late for me, but this review might stop someone else throwing their money down a drain. I'll be posting this review on as many sites as possible.

In summary, I would not recommend iFlorist to a friend.

Shockingly pooer to be avoided

I ordered flowers early in the morning on 3/1/13 and paid extra for same day delivery as it was my girlfriend's birthday. My girlfriend received a phone call at 4.30pm and was told "we have a delivery for you but our vans broken down so we will deliver tomorrow". I was not informed of any problem or offered any refund of delivery fees.

I called the number she'd received the call from and was told "shit happens" That is an exact quote of what the delivery driver said. I spent ages on line trying to rectify the problem but the staff whilst polite were unable to help. The flowers were finally delivered at 13:30 on 04/01/13. I contacted the company and asked for a refund as the "Birthday flowers" had not arrived for my girlfriend's birthday. This was refused. I then had to insist on a refund of the same day payment as this was not offered despite the fact the flowers didn't arrive "same day"

I've never experienced so much stress trying to simply send flowers and downright inadequate service that you wouldnt get from any other flower delivery company.
I am appalled by the service I received and by the... (Read the full review)

Worst Customer Service Ever Experienced

You look at their website and they appear like any other internet florist. I ordered flowers & chocolates for my mother-in-law on 15 December to be delivered 21 December. Nothing was delivered - the tracking info. just stated 'out for delivery'. I e-mailed them (very conveniently for them you can't call them) - but no response. I heard nothing over Christmas and tried again after Christmas to initiate a 'Live Chat'. Approx. 45 minutes to get nowhere. I was told it was my fault as I'd given them a 'bad address' ... bad because it didn't show up on Google Maps. I told them it was on the Post Office Address Finder website - they grudgingly agreed to try and redeliver. I said I didn't want a bunch of dead flowers redelivered - I wanted my money back. They said this wasn't possible as I'd given them a bad address and it was my responsibility to give them a proper 'good' address. We were going round in circles so I left it to them to redeliver. Still nothing happened so I emailed again. I then got a response from... (Read the full review)

DISGUSTING - for second year running

For Xmas 2011 my son ordered a hamper to be delivered to me in the UK. This hamper never arrived. After many months hassling the company his money was finally refunded.

Then this year he ( I know, he couldn't remember the name from last year) ordered two hampers, one hampered arrived sent by a different company the iflorist hamper DID NOT arrive. My pho e calls and messages have not been returned.

How can this terrible company still be in business, ruining people's happy occasions time after time.

In summary, I would not recommend iFlorist to a friend.

Placed an order for flowers from iFlorist (christmas wonderland product and ordered a large bunch option) to be delivered to my parents on Christmas Eve as I was away for Christmas. This is a sad time of year for the family as my grandmother passed away two years ago on Christmas Day. So to make up for not being around thought flowers would be a nice gesture.
I got a text from my Mum on Christmas Eve to say she had received so thought all was well.

I visited my parents on 27th December and I was shocked. Really shocked. The flowers were shoddy (given they had only been around for 4 days they looked dog eared, droopy and dead) and the 'large' bouquet was just not what I was expecting. For 35 quid I got three roses, three gerberas (one dropping on arrival apparently and now all not looking their best) some reallly cheap 'garage forecourt standard' chrysanths (one with broken stem) and some foliage. For 35 quid?????????? From our local florist that would have been about 15 quid at most. It just did not resemble the picture on the website in any... (Read the full review)
