Quality and range

The variety of bouquets on offer by Serenata is staggering and will please the fussiest shopper. From traditional lilies and roses to quirky bali hai and amazonia, there truly is something for everyone. On the page for each flower arrangement you can find a detailed breakdown of the contents of each bouquet, depending on the chosen size. We appreciate this feature as it helps shoppers select just the right bouquet.

Like a few other flower delivery companies on the market which use the postal service in order to deliver faster and to more locations, bouquets are usually sent in bud so they can bloom at destination and remain fresher for longer.

All arrangements come in standard size, and most have the option to upgrade to the Deluxe or Grandissimo for an extra fee.

You can add special extras to any flower arrangement or plant order, including chocolates, balloons, and teddy bears. Gifts may also be purchased separately along with a wide range of hampers. Once again, there are dozens of hampers to chose from, with every possible combination of high-quality products, hand-selected by the team at Serenata.

Website and service

The three main categories, Flowers, Plants, and Gifts, can be found in handy tabs at the top of the main page, while the categories can be filtered by selecting options on the left hand side. The FAQ section is extensive and, for any unresolved issue or query, Serenata Flowers can be contacted via an online form on their online customer services system. The lack of phone support may be a downside, however, if you are more comfortable with using the telephone than with online enquiries.

Serenata’s homepage is unfortunately crowded with too much information, and between the search menus on the left, bouquets for sale in the middle, customers’ reviews on the right, and dense information about the terms and conditions at the bottom, there is hardly any screen space left to showcase the flowers themselves. This gives an impression of messiness to the site and we found that it can make customers’ online shopping experience less than ideal.

When researching this category, the drop down menu with the function to display products by “Bestsellers” or price “Low – High” was not working on the website. It is to be hoped that such issues will be ironed out. Similarly, even when ticking the option to see only bouquets “up to £20” the webpage still displayed much more expensive products. We believe this glitch will be fixed soon but it was an issue at the time of writing.
