Most people only write reviews on flowers if they don't arrive or are poor quality. I am the same: I came here to write a bad review of another more expensive company (can I use its name? iFlorist - avoid!). But then I saw that Bunches only has one review. Well I've used Bunches twice, once for a birthday, and once to surprise my girlfriend, and I am very happy with their service. Good flowers, at an excellent price.

Please don't blame Bunches when it's the Post Office's fault. Obviously Bunches uses the postal service. That's why they are cheap. And that means a risk. I worked in a Post Office for years, and I have seen items delayed for days, or crushed under heavy parcels. My favourite example is so-called "48 hour delivery" that takes six days, yet still counts as 48 hours! In the UK. "48 hour delivery" means "48 hours from when we pick up the parcel, which is only once a day, usually at noon, and not on weekends or bank holidays" (at least where I worked, in a small rural town: maybe it's different in big cities). This means you could deliver a parcel at the Post Office at 1 minute past 12 noon on a Friday, and just miss that day's pick up. If Monday was a Bank Holiday (as it always is if you're in a hurry) then the parcel would not even be picked u until 12 noon on the Tuesday, and not delivered until 12 noon on Thursday: 6 days after sending, but they call it 48 hours! Meanwhile the parcel could be sitting at the bottom of a sack, upside down, squashed under heavy parcels, then thrown into a post van, crushed under even more sacks, etc. Now of course the flower parcel will be designed to survive as much as it can, and the Post Office Workers usually do their best, but you can't defeat gravity: if the post sack is under ten other post sacks something has to give. So inevitably maybe one in 20 boxes of flowers will arrive squashed and looking sad. you would be sad too after six days in the dark!

19 times out of 20 the flowers will arrive quickly and in good condition. But the 20th time is when people go to the trouble of write reviews. If you want to save money by using the post then that's the risk you have to take. But even if you use a regular flower shop you might get some worker who doesn't care.

In short, 19 times out of 20 Bunches is perfect, and the 20th time isn't their fault.

In summary, I would recommend Bunches to a friend.
